Owner run and managed by myself, Heather Hiscox and capably assisted by Inge Oelofsen, and my husband Stuart, when necessary, on the smallholding where we live. We're all animal lovers and in fact my husband and I have 15 Golden Retrievers, a Siamese and recently, two gorgeous kittens.

Situated in the heart of the Garden Route, in The Crags, Savannalands is just 15 minutes from Plettenberg Bay and 40 minutes from Knysna, in the direction of Port Elizabeth.

We opened in December 2010 to a fully booked high season and have had loads of repeat business ever since. We offer relaxed, quiet, luxury, country accommodation for your beloved cats and dogs, in gorgeous surroundings and with the attention and care that they deserve.

 

We walk the dogs three times daily, off lead, in a huge, safely enclosed area, where they can run full speed if they wish. No wonder so many dogs don't want to go home or sit up excitedly in the car as they approach, on their next visit, as so many owners tell me!

 

The Kennels & Cattery are designed to international standards, to minimise stress on your pet in their time away from you.  We offer spacious, secure, indoor/outdoor combination runs for both dogs and cats.



Premium food is provided and our vet is on 24 hour call.
